Here are some resources we recommend checking out,
This is our supporting church in Morgan Hill. Brad Keller and others have found to be a rich community of Christians who are very interested in helping Christians mature, know and love God and live fulfilling lives in obedience to God. The elders currently help oversee and advise Veritas leaders.
This is John Piper’s online resource. If you don’t know who John Piper is, then you are certainly missing out! John Piper is passionate about raising a generation of Christians who are full of joy and fully satisfied in God, even amidst suffering and affliction! There is a wealth of free articles, videos, and even blogs with discussions going on every day. Check it out!
Pastor Mark Driscoll is an amazing preacher who’s humble and straight-ahead biblical preaching feeds the soul. He’s hip and cool and friends with John Piper; what more can you ask for?
ShareYou may believe reincarnation, paradise, Nirvana, Heaven or Hell, or nothing comes next, but SOMETHING is true, and the answer matters. This page is here to encourage you to ask yourself two questions about eternity:
1) What do you believe?
2) How do you know what you believe is true?
SOMETHING is true about eternity, and since we will all be dead a lot longer than we will be alive, we should take these questions seriously. Don’t tell yourself truth is relative, because that would make that statement itself relative and meaningless. Not all beliefs are compatible. Many world views teach ideas that are in direct opposition to each other. If what someone believes doesn’t matter, explain Hitler, the Inquisition and 9/11. There are important philisophical questions that need to be wrestled with, and I would encourage you to wrestle with them.
Don’t tell yourself truth is relative, because that would make that statement itself relative and meaningless.
2000 years ago a man walked this earth who claimed to not only have the answer, but to be that answer. He said he was the way the truth and the life. He fullfilled prophecies written hundreds of years before his birth, silenced the critics of the day with his philosophical briliance, healed the sick, raised the dead, and finally raised himself from the dead after predicting he would do so. Don’t believe it? Look into it yourself with an open mind and you’ll find it to be true. And if a man can walk off into eternity and come back to tell us what’s there, that’s a man we should listen to.
That man was Jesus. He message was to repent, or turn from our sins. What do you have to repent of? Have you lied? The Bible says all liars will have their part in the lake of fire. Stolen anything, regardless of the value? The Bible says no thief will inherit the kingdom of God. Looked with lust? Jesus said that was the same as adultery. Hated someone? Than God sees you as a murderer, and no murderer has eternal life in him. If THIS is what is true about eternity, judgement for our sins, and hell if we fall short of God’s standards, we are all in trouble.
But Jesus said something else. He said no one could come to the Father except through him. Why Jesus? Because he died on the cross. When he was dying on the cross the wrath of God, which should have been poured out on us for our sins, was poured out on him instead. He paid our fine, our sin debt, so we could go free. Then he rose from the dead, proving he had power over death. Not only was this the most incredible miracle the world has ever seen, but the greatest act of love. If Jesus is who he claimed to be, God in the flesh, he could have stopped his death. But instead he chose to die to save those who rejected him, mocked him and nailed him to a cross.
This world is uncertain, and none of us is promised a tomorrow, so don’t waste your time on things that don’t matter.
So what should you do? Repent, or turn from your sins, and trust in Jesus Christ to save you. Only he paid for your sins, so only he can save, if you trust in him. So let him pay the price for your sins, or you will have to pay it yourself. And remember, choosing not to make a choice or to put it off IS making a choice. This world is uncertain, and none of us is promised a tomorrow, so don’t waste your time on things that don’t matter. If you look with open eyes and an open heart, if you examine your conscience and see that you are a sinner, and examine the evidence of the fulfilled prophecy of the Bible and its historical reliabilty, you will discover, as I did, that THIS is what is true about externity. I pray that you discover it soon. If you have questions feel free to call me Brad Keller at 408-841-7402 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
ShareVeritas Community Groups are designed to carry out three primary functions. In plain language these groups focus on worship, community and mission. We worship through learning from God’s word as we go through a section of Scripture each week. We have community through authentic fellowship with each other, praying for one another, and meeting each others needs. Lastly, mission, we are on mission through encouraging each other to actively pray and share with our neighbors concerning the good news of Jesus Christ.

Welcome to Veritas. Veritas Community Church is a new church in Campbell California. Veritas is not like other churches because we are a missional church. A missional church is a church that does not simply see its primary purpose as feeding the people already in the building. Veritas is a commitment to follow in the path of Jesus and the Apostles to win the world for Christ. We are unashamedly evangelistic, however not in a weird super confrontational way. We believe that the best way to lead people to Jesus is through authentic relationships. Veritas strives to walk and live as close as possible to those who do not know Jesus in an effort to point them to Him. If you want to be part of a Church that really lives like a Church you might want to check us out.
Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
ShareWe believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible, and God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Matthew 5:18; John 16:12, 13).
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit co-eternal in being, co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
the Person and Work of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man (John 1:1–2, 14; Luke 1:35). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead (Romans 3:24; 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3–5). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry as Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate (Acts 1:9, 10; Hebrews 7:25; Hebrews 9:24; Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1–2). We believe Jesus is coming again to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5; Romans 14:9; 2 Timothy 4:1).
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption (John 16:8–11; 2 Corinthians 3:6; 1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 5:18).
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that through Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; man is totally depraved and of himself utterly unable to remedy his lost condition (Genesis 1:26, 27; Romans 3:22, 23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:1–3, 12).
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins (Ephesians 2:8–10; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18–19).
We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 6:37–40; 10:27–30; Romans 8:1, 38, 39; 1 Corinthians 1:4–8; 1 Peter 1:5). We believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God’s Word, which clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion for the flesh (Romans 13:13, 14; Galatians 5:13; Titus 2:11–15).
We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowing of spiritual gifts. It is, however, the believer’s responsibility to attempt to develop their sovereignly given spiritual gift(s). The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs at conversion and is the placing of the believer into the Body of Christ. We also believe that particular spiritual gift(s) are neither essential, nor prove the presence of the Holy Spirit, nor are an indication of deep spiritual experience (1 Corinthians 12:7, 11, 13; Ephesians 4:7–8). We believe that God does hear and answer the prayer of faith, in accordance with His own will, for the sick and afflicted (John 15:7; 1 John 5:14, 15). We believe that it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to minister according to the gift(s) and grace of God that is given to him (Romans 12:1–8; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 Peter 4:10–11).
We believe that the church, which is the body and espoused bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons (Ephesians 1:22, 23; 5:25–27; 1 Corinthians 12:12–14; 2 Corinthians 11:2). We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures (Acts 14:27; 18:22; 20:17; 1 Timothy 3:1–3; Titus 1:5–11). We believe in the autonomy of the local churches, free of any external authority and control (Acts 13:1–4; 15:19–31; 20:28; Romans 16:1,4; 1 Corinthians 3:9, 16; 1 Corinthians 5:4–7, 13; 1 Peter 5:1–4). We recognize believer’s baptism and the Lord’s supper as scriptural means of testimony for the church (Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 2:41, 42; Acts 18:8; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
ShareThe Elders of Veritas Community Church are also the Elders of West Hills Community Church in Morgan Hill. The two churches have partnered together to provide Veritas strong and mature leadership during these crucial early years. The West Hills Elders provide accountability, advice, and oversight over Veritas.
VCC exists to lead people from the postmodern culture to Jesus and membership with him in His church, bringing them to maturity, training them for ministry in the world, that God would be glorified.

Veritas Community Church is growing in fellowship, faith, and discipleship. We have been amazed and excited as God continues to provide for every need of our new church.
